What is CKA?

CKA, the full name is Certificated Kubernetes Administrator, that is, the officially certified Kubernetes administrator. You can look through the examination syllabus of CKA to check the knowledge points. The knowledge points corresponding to the examination syllabus and valuable reference materials are collected together, which can save a lot of time. The last but most important thing is to practice a lot. Candidates must be familiar with the kubectl command. Because the exam time is limited, we must understand how to create resources such as deploy and service with the command line. Otherwise, it will be too late to write YAML line by line.

As for the lessons for the exam, what needed to be emphasized is that although Linux Fundamental is an officially recommended supporting tutorial, the content of this tutorial is not specifically prepared for exam preparation. If you buy it just for exam preparation, you will most likely be disappointed. The content of this tutorial is just like the name of the basic Kubernetes tutorial. It covers a wide range of content. A large part of the knowledge cannot be examined in a short time exam, and a considerable part of the exam details are not in the tutorial. As an introduction to Kubernetes, this course is quite good, but it is not suitable for exam preparation, and it is not very valuable to Kubernetes engineers with practical experience.

Tips for the examination

・The examination is allowed to enter the examination interface 15 minutes in advance, and before the examination starts, routine inspection is required, which will consume a certain amount of time. Moreover, the accounting time for entering the examination is mainly to check whether the environment meets the requirements of the examination. Therefore, it is suggested to make good use of the 15 minutes before the examination, and do not be late. If you are late for more than 15 minutes, you will lose the examination qualification. In addition, the operating environment of the examination is in the browser window, so many operations are not the same as usual, especially copy and paste, which takes time to adapt.                          

・It is also important to note that during the examination, it is impossible to check which questions have been completed. If you skip some questions, it is very necessary to record them in Notepad (Notepad function provided in the examination environment, and other programs in the computer are not allowed to be used in the examination) to avoid missing answers.
